Milled cowhide is cowhide that has been tumbled in a drum to soften it. The leather on this vest is 1.1 to 1.2 mm thick. Milling gives it a soft feel from the first wear and a light grain on the surface. It still has the strength of cowhide, so it holds its shape. The leather will soften more as you wear the vest.
A scooter collar is a short collar that stands up around the neck. It has no lapels to flap in the wind. On this vest the collar closes with a hidden snap, and the front closes with hidden snaps too. Men's sizes run from EU 42 to EU 60, and women's sizes run from EU 38 to EU 50. Check your chest against the size chart. If no size fits well, choose Custom Size. Place your order, then fill in the measurement form with your order number. The vest is then cut to your own numbers.
The standard lining is polyester mesh, which lets air move. You can also pick No Lining for a lighter vest or Regular Lining. A Sublimated Lining is printed with a design, and you can upload your own artwork for it. The inside also has two pockets, one with a snap and one with a zipper, for your wallet or keys.
Wipe the vest with a soft, damp cloth after you wear it to remove dust. Use a cleaner made for leather if it gets dirty. Condition the leather every few months so it stays soft.
