FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Standard sizes run from EU 42 to EU 60, or US 32 to US 50. They follow the size chart. Custom Size is cut to your own numbers, such as waist, hip, thigh and inseam. Both use the same black cowhide, triple stitching and brass hardware. Only the fit changes. Custom Size helps if you are between sizes, or if your waist and leg do not match one standard size.
Pick Custom Size in the size menu and finish checkout. You get an order number. Then open the measurement form and enter that number with your body numbers. The form asks for each one it needs. Use a soft tape and measure over thin clothes. Ask a friend to help with the inseam. Do not send measurements by email or in the checkout notes, so they stay linked to the right order.
Yes. Cowhide at 1.1-1.3 mm is thick enough to resist scuffs and small tears. It is still soft enough to bend at the knee and sit on a bike. Triple stitching spreads the load along the seams. Extra leather is added in the areas that wear the most. With care, the leather gets softer and molds to your shape. Note that these are fashion trousers and do not have armor.
Yes. The trousers come with a raw hem length. This means the bottom is left long and unfinished, so you can set it to your leg. A tailor who works with leather can cut and finish the hem. If you pick Custom Size, give your inseam on the measurement form. The trousers are then cut to that length, and you may not need a tailor at all.
Wipe off dust with a soft, dry cloth. For a mark, use a damp cloth with a drop of mild soap, then dry the spot right away. Never soak the trousers or put them in a washing machine. Rub in a leather conditioner a few times a year to keep the cowhide soft. Keep them away from heaters and strong sun. Hang them in a cool, dry place. Read the leather care instructions for more tips.
