Pants use four numbers: waist, hip, external leg length and crotch to ground. Add your height if the form asks for it. Each piece is hand-stitched and made to order.
You need your waist, your hips and your inseam. The inseam runs from the crotch to the ankle. You also need the rise, from the crotch to the top of the waistband. If you want a wider or narrower flare at the hem, add that in the order instructions. Use a soft tape and stand straight. You can also measure a pair of pants that already fit you well.
Wipe off dirt with a soft, damp cloth. Let the pants dry at room temperature, away from heaters and strong sun. Do not put them in a washing machine.
