- Drum dyeing soaks color deep into the hide, so a scuff shows less than on a painted surface.

- TPU-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders and knees, and TPU sliders cover the elbows.

Yes. A removable back protector sits in a pocket inside the suit. It is EN 1621-2 compatible, which is the standard for back protection. You can take it out to clean the lining or to fit an insert you already own. The suit also has removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips, rated to EN 1621-1:2012.
