Buying Guidance
How do I choose a size? Measure at home and compare with the Size Guide. Boots come in standard sizes only. Where can I get help? The customer service page answers size and order questions.
Race boots fit closer than sneakers. They should hold your heel and ankle firmly, so your foot does not slide inside. Measure your foot length in centimeters while standing. Then compare the number with the size chart instead of using your usual shoe size. Sizes run EU 36 to 46, which is US 4.5 to 12. Wear the socks you ride in when you measure.
Each boot has guards at the ankle, the shin, the heel and the toe. Toe sliders sit at the front, where the boot touches the track in a hard lean. A leather pad covers the top of the foot on the gear-change side, so the shifter does not scuff the boot. The rubber sole grips on wet or oily ground. A YKK zip closes the boot.
Yes. The toe sliders are made to be replaced. They wear down with use, most of all if you touch your toes to the track in corners. Check them now and then. Swap them before they wear through to the boot. This keeps the cowhide and the toe guard in good shape for longer. The rest of the boot does not need to be changed.
Every design in this range uses fluorescent yellow, which is easy to see on the bike. Some designs mix it with black or white. Others add blue or purple details. Each product page shows the full boot from several sides. Compare the pages to find the year you want. If you plan a full set, pick the same year as your suit or jacket.
Wipe off mud and dust with a damp cloth after each ride. Let wet boots dry at room temperature, away from heaters. Stuff them with paper to help them keep their shape. A leather conditioner keeps the cowhide soft. Check the zip and clean it if grit builds up. The leather care instructions page has more tips for leather gear.
