Wipe the suit with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. Let it dry at room temperature if it gets wet. Keep it away from heaters and strong sun, since heat can dry out the hide. Use a leather conditioner every few months so the cowhide stays soft and does not crack. Store it on a wide hanger so the shoulders keep their shape. Take the armor out before you clean the lining.
