A standard size follows the size chart. It suits most riders whose numbers sit inside one size. A custom size is cut to your own chest, waist, sleeve and torso numbers. It helps if you are tall, broad or between sizes. Both use the same 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide and the same hand-stitched seams. Start with the Size Guide, then pick Custom Size if no standard size fits you well.
The jackets are inspired by MotoGP and WSBK teams from the 2019 season. MotoGP designs include Yamaha, Ducati, KTM, Suzuki, Aprilia and Honda riders, such as Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso and Joan Mir. WSBK designs follow Kawasaki and BMW riders, such as Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes. Each one is a replica with sponsor-style graphics. None of them is team gear or connected to the teams. Each product page names the rider and team.
You can choose a speed hump: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. The hump sits on the upper back. You can also choose perforation. It comes on the chest, the front, the whole jacket, or not at all. More holes let more air through on warm days. Matching gloves can be added to the same order. All options are set on the product page before the jacket is cut and stitched.
Wear a thin shirt and keep the tape level. Measure your chest at the fullest point. Measure your waist where you wear your jeans. For the sleeve, start at the back of your neck, go over the shoulder and down to the wrist, with your arm a little bent. A friend makes this much easier. The how to measure guide shows each step with pictures.
Wipe off dirt and bugs with a soft, damp cloth after each ride. Let the jacket dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Use a leather conditioner every few months to keep the cowhide soft. Hang the jacket on a wide, padded hanger in a cool, dry place. Do not machine wash it. The leather care instructions explain each step in more detail.
