It still bends at the ankle, so you can work the gear lever and the rear brake. Each pair is hand-stitched and made to order. Wipe off dirt after each ride to keep the leather in good shape.
TPU guards cover the shin and the ankle. TPU is a tough, flexible plastic. The heel and the toe also have extra reinforcement. A heavy-duty pad sits on top of the foot where you work the gear shifter. The toe sliders are made of TPU, and you can replace them when they wear down.
Sizes run from EU 36 (US 4.5) to EU 46 (US 12). The boots fit both men and women. Measure your foot from heel to toe while you stand. Then compare the length with the size chart. Wipe the boots with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and strong sun. Every few months, rub a little leather conditioner into the leather with a cloth. Then buff it dry. Salt and rain marks come off with a damp cloth. Do not put the boots in a washing machine.
