Goatskin suede is goat leather with a soft, brushed surface. It feels a bit like velvet. The leather on this skirt is 0.8–0.9 mm thick. That makes it light and easy to move in. It drapes well, so the pencil cut follows your shape. Suede is also more matte than smooth leather. It pairs well with a silk top, a knit or a leather jacket.
Do not wash a suede skirt in water or in a machine. Water can stain suede and make it stiff. Take the skirt to a leather dry cleaner instead. For dust, brush it gently with a soft suede brush. If you spill something, blot it at once with a dry cloth. Do not rub it. Then take it to a cleaner soon. More tips are in the leather care instructions.
You enter three numbers when you order: your waist, your hip and the skirt length you want. The skirt is cut to those numbers. Measure your waist at the narrowest point. Measure your hips at the widest point. For a knee length skirt, measure from your waist down to your knee. The size chart can help you compare sizes.
The skirt in the photos is beige. You can also order it in black, brown, tan or white. For the buckle, choose silver chrome, gold chrome, gunmetal or antique brass. Silver suits light colors and cool tones. Gold and brass look warm next to tan and brown. Gunmetal is a dark gray that works well with black. Add any other request in the Order Instructions box.
Each skirt is made to order. Work starts after you place your order and send your waist, hip and length. The skirt is then cut and hand-stitched to those numbers.
