Frequently Asked Questions

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark. Do this with the socks you plan to ride in. Compare that length with the size chart, not with your usual sneaker size. Race boots sit closer around the ankle and heel than street shoes. Sizes run EU 36 to 46, which is US 4.5 to 12.
Each boot has protectors over the ankle, the shin, the heel and the toe. These are the parts that often touch the ground first in a slide. Toe sliders sit on the outside of the boot, and you can replace them when they wear down. A leather pad covers the top of the foot where it meets the gear lever. The rubber sole is made to resist slips and oil.
Yes. The designs in this range are offered for men and women. The sizes start at EU 36, which suits many smaller feet, and run up to EU 46. Boots come in a standard fit only, so there is no custom size. Measure your foot length first and match it to the size chart. If you are between two sizes, the larger one leaves room for a thicker riding sock.
Brush off dirt after each ride, then wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Let the boots dry at room temperature. Keep them away from heaters, which can make cowhide stiff. Stuff them with paper if they got wet, so they keep their shape. Clean the zip now and then so it runs smoothly. A little leather balm keeps the upper soft. The leather care instructions give more detail.
