Race suits offer three leathers at order: cowhide, kangaroo and Monaco leather. Cowhide is the base leather, about 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. Kangaroo is a light hide that is strong for its weight. Monaco leather is a third choice for riders who want a different feel. Gloves use thinner leather, about 0.8 to 0.9 mm, so your fingers can move freely. Every piece is hand-stitched and made to order.
Yes. Most suits and jackets have a Custom Size option. You send your chest, waist, sleeve, inseam and other numbers, and the leather is cut to fit them. This helps if you are between sizes or want a snug race fit. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape for each number. Boots and gloves come in standard sizes, so check those sizes before you order.
You can set the speed hump on the back: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. You can also pick the perforation: none, chest, front or full. Perforated leather has small holes that let air in on hot days. Add-ons include a removable lining, a thermal removable lining and an extra knee slider. You can add matching gloves and boots to the same order, so the whole set shares one look.
Wipe the suit with a soft, damp cloth after each ride to remove bugs and dirt. Let it dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Rub in a leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months to keep the leather soft. Hang the suit on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. Do not fold it for long periods. The leather care instructions give more detail.
