Custom Leather Jackets, Coats & Gear

Custom fashion leather apparel from Leather Collection is hand-stitched to order and cut to your measurements. The range covers jackets, trench coats, vests, pants, chaps, gloves, kilts and bags. On each piece you choose the leather, finish, lining and hardware.

Leather options include cowhide, sheepskin, goatskin, buffalo and kangaroo, based on the piece. Finishes include nappa, aniline, semi aniline, suede, nubuck, distressed, glazed, washed and two-tone. Linings come in cotton, polyester or a sublimated print, or you can skip the lining. Hardware comes in antique brass, gunmetal, gold chrome or silver chrome.

Want a piece the standard range does not have? Use the design tool to build your own. Pick the cut, the leather, the color and the details. On most pieces you can also upload your own design. Your order is then hand-stitched to your size, whether it is a jacket, pants or a trench coat.

How Custom Leather Clothing Is Made

Pick a base piece, such as a jacket, coat, vest, pants or bag. Then choose the leather, finish, lining and hardware on its page. Most pieces have a Custom Size option where you enter your own chest, waist, sleeve and length. On most pieces you can also upload your own design or add order notes. The Made to Measure page explains the steps for a custom fit.

The leather depends on the piece. Options include cowhide, sheepskin, goatskin, buffalo and kangaroo. You then pick a finish, such as nappa, aniline, semi aniline, suede, nubuck, distressed, glazed or washed. Some pieces also offer lambskin shearling or a two-tone look. Nappa feels soft and smooth. Suede and nubuck have a soft, velvet-like surface. Each product page shows the choices for that piece.

A custom size is cut from your own numbers, not from a factory chart. Sleeve length, torso length, waist and collar can all follow your body. This helps if your arms are long, your waist is slim or you are between two sizes. Standard sizes work well for many people too. Use the how to measure guide to take your measurements before you order.

Rub in a leather conditioner now and then with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and solvents. Store the piece in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, which can fade the color. Hang jackets and coats on wide, padded hangers. If it gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and never use heat. The leather care instructions give more tips for each type of leather.

Yes, on most pieces in this range. Use the Upload Design option on the product page to add a sketch, photo or logo. You can also add notes about the color, lining or hardware you want. Pick the hardware finish there too: antique brass, gunmetal, gold chrome, silver chrome or matching. The piece is then hand-stitched to order with your choices.
