If you are not sure, measure a bag you already own and like. Then note what you would change, such as a longer strap or a deeper base.
Wipe the bag with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If it gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature. Keep it away from heaters and strong sun, since heat dries out leather.
