Carl Fogarty leathers here are replica race suits and a jacket inspired by his WSBK years from 1990 to 2002. Most designs carry Ducati colors, with Honda and Petronas years too. Each piece is hand-stitched to order in cowhide, and suits can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather. More riders sit in the MotoGP rider leathers
range.
Carl Fogarty, known as Foggy, was born on July 1, 1965 in England. He is a former World Superbike racer. He won 59 races and four World Superbike titles, in 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999. Most of those wins came with the factory Ducati team. In 2011 the FIM named him a Legend of the sport.
These Carl Fogarty leathers are replicas inspired by the suits he raced. Each race suit is hand-stitched in 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. You can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather when you order. Choose a one-piece or two-piece suit, or a jacket or pants alone. You can also pick the speed hump, the perforation, a lining and extra knee sliders.
The Carl Fogarty Ducati retro jacket
comes in his 1999 Ducati colors. Every design can be cut to a custom size. Leather Collection has made leather gear since 2009.

Pick the year that matches the Foggy moment you like most. His four World Superbike title years were 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999. The 1994 and 1995 suits follow his Ducati 916 years. The 1998 and 1999 suits follow his Ducati 996 years. There is also a 1990 Honda suit and a 2002 Petronas suit. The table in the description shows the bike and team for each year.
Each suit starts in 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. You can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather when you order. Kangaroo leather is thin and light for its strength. Cowhide is a little heavier and very tough. Every suit is hand-stitched, with pre-curved sleeves and stretch panels at the elbows. These help your arms stay relaxed in a riding position. Pick the leather that suits how you ride.
A standard size works for most riders. Compare your chest, waist and inseam with the size chart first. A custom size is a good choice if you fall outside the chart. It also helps if your arms are long or your torso is short. The suit is then cut to your own measurements. A close fit keeps the sleeves in line with your arms and stops the waist from bunching.
You can pick a speed hump: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. Perforation can be none, chest, front or full. Holes in the leather let more air reach you on hot days. You can add a removable lining or a thermal lining for cold days. Extra knee sliders are another choice. Matching gloves and boots can be added to the same order, sized apart from the suit.
Wipe the suit with a soft cloth after each ride to remove dust and bugs. Condition the leather every 6 to 12 months. Riders who use the suit often should do it every 6 months. Apply the conditioner evenly and let it soak in for a few hours. Store the suit in a cool, dry place out of direct sun. This keeps the leather soft and stops cracks.
